Purpose:

Will County Lead Hazard Reduction Demonstration Grant

Will County Community Development, along with Will County Health Department and Will County Center for Community Concerns applied for and received a three year grant in 2007 to stabilize lead paint hazards in homes where children reside under the age of 6.  A lead safe housing registry was also established to provide a public listing of homes that have received such funding.  For additional information please visit: www.wcccc.net or call 815-722-0722. 

Will County Lead Hazard Control Program

Will County Community Development was awarded a three year grant to stabilize lead paint hazards in homes where a child resides under the age of 6.  This program will begin on December 1, 2009 and is projected to stabilize paint in 175 homes in the Will County area.  To see if you qualify or to learn more about the program please contact Will County Center for Community Concerns at www.wcccc.net or call 815-722-0722.
